Oxford Analytica is pleased once again to be associated with the "Focus on Emerging Markets" series of workshops and briefings at Chatham House in London between 21st October 2005 and 31st March 2006.
What is it?
These events aim to:
- Offer focused and region-specific events for up to
25 people.
- Provide a forum for discussion around key issues.
- Increase participants’ knowledge of trends,
opportunities, risks and challenges in specific
regions.
- Assess the implications of key economic and
political issues for business people.
The workshops are half-day events, which start with a
breakfast to allow for ice-breaking and networking. The
goal is to offer a deep overview of economic prospects
and political risks in a key country/region, to carefully
assess and examine the most relevant issues and to
present some case-studies.
The briefings are shorter events, normally starting late
afternoon, and are designed to provide timely insights
on political, security and economic risks in key
regions/countries.
Why should you attend?
- Both workshops and briefings are small-scale,
intimate events.
- They provide excellent networking opportunities.
- Participants have the chance to discuss key
economic issues with experts as well as with their
peers.
- The events are organized and hosted by the
International Economics Programme at Chatham
House and feature leading experts.
- The audience provides lively debate and a range of
viewpoints.
- The events are held under the Chatham House rule.
Who should attend?
- The events are designed to suit the interests of
senior executives and to deepen their knowledge of
key economic and political issues in relevant
emerging markets.
- Participants should have a basic knowledge of the
issues to be discussed as they are invited to
actively participate in the discussion.
