Mark Elsner

Deputy Director of Advisory

Mark, who joined Oxford Analytica in 2002, is an expert on Latin America and international economic issues. He focuses primarily on the financial services and energy sectors but has broad cross-sectoral experience.

Mark has led many of Oxford Analytica’s thought leadership projects for large corporate clients, including innovative comparative research into sovereign wealth funds for Standard Chartered Bank. He has also worked with Petrobras on the likely future of Brazil’s energy sector. Mark has advised many corporate clients on managing risk in emerging markets, and in Latin America in particular.

Prior to joining Oxford Analytica, Mark worked as a strategy consultant in Paris, Berlin and London. He holds an MPhil in Economics and a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, both from Christ Church, University of Oxford.
