Alex Maass

Alex Maass joined Oxford Analytica in 2010. He has regional expertise in the Middle East and has also worked on projects for clients in the energy, finance and agricultural sectors.
Recent project work has included analysing the agribusiness reliability and export potential of a dozen countries for a multinational client seeking to diversify its supply chain, and a case study on relations between various Islamist groups operating in Saudi Arabia. Alex is also a key member of the team working on Oxford Analytica’s contribution to GE Healthcare’s healthymagination initiative.
Alex’s previous consulting experience includes advising clients on the business environment in Kuwait. He has an MA in Arab Studies from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and a BA in Middle Eastern History and French Language and Literature from Amherst College.
