Helping GE Healthcare achieve first place in innovation survey
Driven by its Healthymagination initiative, in which Oxford Analytica plays a significant role, GE has been ranked "No.1 for innovation in the healthcare industry ", according to Fast Company's annual survey of the world's most innovative companies in 2010.
A number of successful new product and service breakthroughs were at the heart of this award, delivering on the words of Healthymagination's CEO, Mike Barber:
We believe that what is good for the public at large and what is good for the world is also good business.
Roddy Orr (Executive Director, Oxford Analytica) says:
The resounding innovation was of course the Healthymagination initiative itself. Through Healthymagination's commitment to meeting independently verified goals for improving healthcare, GE Healthcare has tied its entire business plan to its obligation to society and in this way is helping to set the new rules of capitalism.
